About Me

Founder & Contributor

We live in a psychoanalyzed world. Hi, my name is Matthew Emerson. I'm currently earning my M. S. in Clinical Mental Health Counseling with a certification in Spiritual Ethical and Religious Values. I earned my B. A. in Psychology from a small liberal arts university tucked away in the rolling hills of Pennsylvania.

The point of this blog is broad and simple. What are Christians to do in a world that no longer turns to priest or parson for comfort, but the pill and the secular therapist?

This is not a knock on psychology, I'm studying it after all, but I would be blind if I tried to argue that most therapists were coming from a Christian worldview. So my purpose in establishing this blog is to provide a place for Christians to wrestle with the blurring lines that come up between theology and psychology and hopefully come to a God-glorifying conclusion.
